>SMM reported on May 6 that the magnesium ingot market operated steadily this morning, with magnesium producers making tentative offers. Some magnesium producers achieved a small volume of transactions at the price of 16,500 yuan/mt. Subsequently, as news of the suspension of dolomite production gradually spread, some downstream buyers entered the market to purchase goods. This afternoon, magnesium ingot transactions were concluded at prices ranging from 16,600 to 16,700 yuan/mt, with some magnesium producers raising their offers to 16,800 yuan/mt, marking a 100 yuan/mt increase in the day's prices.
